Recent examples include Hamad International (HIA), Riga (RIX) and Abu Dhabi (AUH). Our work includes developing operational use cases and causal chain analysis.

Remote Operated Tower business cases. We have conducted several CBAs and business cases for Remote Operated Towers, also known as ‘digital towers’ including in contingency mode, working with IBG and others.

Airport Operational Control Centre (AOCC/APOC). Working with our partners IBG and ADB-Safegate, Winsland supported a study for Riyadh Airport Company to facilitate the introduction of an Airport Operations Control Centre (AOCC) at King Khaled International Airport (KKIA). The project included detailed site assessment to identify as aspects of the airport operations and infrastructure that require attention to move to AOCC operations. The team also conducted a Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) and made recommendations for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The site assessment examined all aspects of the airport activities from curbside to airborne for departures and from airborne to curbside for arrivals.
